Smoke Show - Setting Sun, Trance, Dusk
I experiment with mark making until I find a process that mimics the detail or object of interest I want to represent. The smoke series is a great example: a lot of time and experimentation went into getting the paint mix just right, and then allowing only a few marks to represent the smoke.
